Teriyaki Sauce - Large Batch

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups water
  • 2 cups soy sauce
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • tbsp ginger fresh, grated
  • tbsp garlic fresh, minced

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  • Fill pint jars to 1 1/2” headspace with hot teriyaki sauce.
  • Wipe rims with vinegar, place lids and tighten finger tight.
  • Water bath jars for 20 minutes.
  • Remove jars from bath and allow to cool completely. Once cool, remove rings for storage.

Notes

  • If using powdered ginger and garlic, reduce to half the amount.
